What is it about boys and messes and power tools? Both boys wanted so badly to help work on the family room. Kyle really wanted to paint. He wasn't satisfied that I got out his paper and paints at the kitchen table. He wanted to paint with the real stuff. Mel and I had to wait until he was asleep to get any painting done.
Jacob wanted to use the tools. Mel had the great idea to let the boys use the power drill to take apart the desk we were scrapping. They loved that.

You should have seen my boy's eye glaze over 5 years ago when Daddy gave him a little sledge hammer so he could help knock down the old house! Boy heaven!
