Christmas 2007

Candy and Coins for Kyle
We had a busy Christmas morning opening stockings before Sam, Melinda and Stella had to catch a plane back to California. Kyle was most excited about all the candy HoHo left in his stocking. At one point he had everything dumped out the presents and toys were untouched and he sat there eating one piece of candy after another. When we realized what he was doing, we had to put up the candy and force him to open his gifts.

If you know Kyle, you know he likes money. He's always asking for money and if I leave my purse laying out, he quickly empties my wallet of all it's coins. He likes to carry around the coins in his hand or in his pockets. He jokes that he's going to buy candy with the money. Go figure!
Sarah and Matt sent him a small piggy bank with toy coins and a wallet for Christmas. Let's just say, he was in heaven.

Santa comes through
We kept the magic of Santa alive for another year. Jacob left a plate of cookies and carrots (for the reindeer) out for Santa Christmas eve. He also wrote him a note on Kyle's Magna Doodle and left it near the cookies. Christmas morning Jacob couldn't get over the fact that Santa wrote a message back to him. He was also very happy with Santa's presents commenting that Santa knew just what he wanted!

We spent ALL day playing with the new toys, playing board games, watching movies, and putting together puzzles. Jacob told Kyle that they were the luckiest boys in the world.
