No, that's not an oxymoron. We really did have a great day outdoors yesterday. We went to Lebanon Hills Regional Park in Eagan and rented kicksleds and headed out to the snow covered trails. The kicksleds were a lot of fun on flat or downhill slopes, but were a little more challenging going up inclines.
It was much easier to pull the sleds up the hills. Here's where Mel insisted on pulling us ALL up the hill. What a man!
It was so peaceful and refreshing to be out in the woods on such a beautiful day. Kyle was so lulled by the quiet, gentle movement of the sleds, he dozed for a little bit.
After our trek through the woods, we finished our journey crossing the frozen, snow covered lake. We stopped to make snow angels, have a snowball fight. and play a game of tag. Kyle quenched his thirst eating fresh, clean snow.
We couldn't have asked for a better day. Gorgeous weather, beautiful sunshine, and great family time.

What a fun time! We all went for a walk around Powers Lake on Sunday. It was so nice to be outdoors more than two seconds.
