Cereal and milk

Mission: To get 4 year old to eat cereal with milk.
Plan: Buy Fruit Loops and tell child he can only eat them in milk.

Tempt child by having him watch his brother enjoying Fruit Loops and milk.
He takes the bait.
He tries one...
...and then a spoonful.

He tastes it.

He thinks about it.
Mission accomplished!

And yes, my child now likes cereal and milk.

Clarification- he likes Fruit Loops and milk. The following morning I poured plain old, regular (non-sugary, without boatloads of artificial colors and flavors) cereal in his bowl with milk and he refused to eat it. I guess he's only a Fruit Loops and milk kind of kid. Back to dry cereal and toast for breakfast.

My kids pretty much eat dry cereal, except when they can make "chocolate milk" with Koala Crisp. Yeah, we SO get you, dude!

Less waste for us, too. The little peanut NEVER finishes her breakfast, but if it's dry cereal, she'll go back to it later for a snack. He's just trying to be economical. ;o)
